I had a clean, comfy Double Room with a fabulous view and great tea-making facilities. Street parking made things easier.

Great staff and bar, but noise from the street made sleeping tough.

The location was ideal, offering easy access to the nearby attractions. The shower was fantastic, and the bed provided great comfort for a restful sleep. However, the bathroom cleanliness was lacking on the second day, and the room felt neglected with its sad decor and cramped layout. I would have preferred more practical amenities over the provided coffee and apples, especially in a room that could use a thorough update.

The staff at the front desk were really friendly and helped us out when we needed a taxi during our stay and the breakfast they served was perfect lots of options and the cooked stuff was done just right

I had a lovely stay for two nights in a cozy Single Room, and I especially loved the amazing full English breakfast that hit the spot. The garden area was perfect for unwinding after a long day, with a peaceful spot to read and a great place to sip coffee outside. The Clifton’s dining options are top-notch, especially the gluten-free dishes that are bursting with flavor! Plus, the charming Racks Bar & Kitchen just a hop, skip, and jump away made our meal memorable. And kudos for the local produce hampers in our room. it was like a taste of Bristol right on our doorstep!

Now, it feels a tad cheeky to say, but the room was certainly on the snug side—definitely not the luxury you expect for those pound notes! Still, everything else made up for it.

The room I had was clean, comfy, and equipped with a mini-bar and fresh fruit, which was a nice touch. The shower had excellent pressure and was new, making it a refreshing experience. I had some issues with the room's heating system. it became quite stuffy during the night as the window barely opened, limiting ventilation. I noticed stains on the carpet, which reflected a need for better cleanliness overall. While I enjoyed breakfast, the options felt limited, especially for gluten-free diets. Parking was also a bit of a hassle. it cost £12 and navigating the process was convoluted. Despite these concerns, the cozy atmosphere of the bar and café contributed positively to my stay. I would consider returning, but I hope they address the cleanliness and heating issues.
